quickdash is 100% right. I am using several Monoprice.com HDMI cables to connect my HD DVD/Blu Ray player, Samsung Plasma, Xbox 360, Onkyo 805 receiver & Motorola HD DVR cable box. My picture quality is just as good as my friend's some of whom are using Monster cables that cost 1000% more than what I paid for my cables. As long as you are not running a long length of cable in walls to a projector the Monoprice cables are high quality and cheap in price.

Unless you are running the cable through walls or over a great length (25+ feet) then there is no need to pay the extra cost for a $50 or $100 cable.
I suggest buying HDMI cables from monoprice.com and not spending more than $10 on the actual cable.

A $50 HDMI cable will work just as good as a $100 HDMI cable. Remember that this is a digital signal, not analog. Digital signals have much better immunity to noise and you either receive a perfect picture or you will receive nothing. Digital does not give you much in between like analog signals.
