Should I tarp my motor home?

I have a 31-ft Class C motor home. Will it help or hurt to cover it with a waterproof tarp during the winter or summer (in Ohio)?

    as long as the m/h is dry ,I don't think that tarping could hurt it in any way ,only help

    Why? It is already water proof. Or wax it.
