Toughest unit in the US Marine Corps?

there are no soldiers in the usmc..only marines...all units are tough...we dont rank units in the usmc..thats for civilians to do..each unit thinks they are the toughest....of course many will say marsoc is toughest but i can tell you that there are many infantry line companies that are just as tough if not tougher.

The bad news for Areawide is that there never was a Forced Recon and that Force Recon ceased to exist in Feb 2006.

At present the most highly trained Marines are under the Command of MARSOC which is under SOCOM. They upped the requirements from what they were for Force Recon.

The good news for all that did not know they went away is that they are rumored to be returning soon. Seems The Commandant wants some extra hard chargers in his direct control.

Even worse it is an Old Army Puke bringing the news.

Recon is probably one of the toughest units for a Marine.

(Recon means reconnaissance or infantry men )

Soldiers are those men/women in the Army not MC, just fyi :)

They are all equally tough! Forced Recon is their version of our Special Forces.
