How many other republicans saw this election coming?

Question

In 2006 I said the democrats would take control of the House and Senate.  I also said as soon as they took over gas prices would rise and the economy would dive.  In 2007 I said it would be Obama and McCain getting their party's nomination and Obama would win.

Quote me on this: In 2012 Republicans will win back the Senate and White House.  The House will remain in a slight favor for the Democrats.

I kinda have a sneaking suspicion all along, but I admit I was in denial, I honestly though McCain was going to win, even htough I saw so many people being caught up in the cult of personality that is Obama.

I think in 2010 if the Relublicans learn their lesson and start being fiscal conservatives in addition to social conservatives, they will take back the house and win back a few seats in the Senate.

Between now and 2010, we Republicans need to start kicking out the RINO's and start recruiting strong conservatives.

As much as the media (Especially hte likes of David Brooks) will blame Palin for dragging down McCain, I think it was McCain that dragged down the ticket. I think when McCain voted for the bailout bill, he cost himself the election.
