Well done for all people that voted Obama, I am not black but Americans -- you should be so proud!! The whole world is celebrating never in the history people outside of America cared so much who was going to win this elections. The whole world is with Obama every single person i know because i believe he can turn things around for Americans and our world. Bush not only destroyed Americas standard of living and reputation he also destroyed a lot of other parts of the world.McCain voters, Haven't you lot had enough?? don't you want or in desperate need of a change???

White voters came out in legions for Obama, recognizing that we needed someone to clean up the 'mess' that the Bush administration has made of this country in the past eight years. To assume there would be rioting because we elected a black President is absurd - and shallow. All Americans should follow the example of John McCain, whose concession speech was outstanding and demonstrated that man's true character, nobility and integrity. McCain was a real 'winner' last night; we all should follow his lead and give our whole-hearted support to our new President elect. -RKO-

63,428,971 (and still counting) Americans were not afraid and did vote. Time to shut up and face the fact. Barack Obama Will be Your New President. Accept it, your fearless leader McCain did.

    Nooo....

Did you see how respectful the Obama crowd at Grant Park was when McCain gave his speech? That's what they would have been like if Obama lost.

And wouldn't that be stupid? Just another fear based thought. Of course, almost every thought Republicans have is fear based...

in aspect of incontrovertible reality that because of Obama's 2 years of political adventure as against McCain's 25 years of political adventure--- Obama purely isn't President.--- As you suggested, McCain IS a real American Hero who suffered for our usa in a P.O.W. camp 2 a million/2 X the form of years that Obama has been in Congress. Obama IS a shame to our usa.---If the international now demands that an election be depending upon race or gender ---PLEASE have Condi Rice as MCCain's operating mate.--i'd vote for that smart, experienced, honest, qualified black female in a heartbeat because my vote will be depending upon earnings no longer upon the actual incontrovertible reality that Condi is Black & female.

No, many of them were too smart to vote for something as stupid as skin color like some very racist folks I could name. I voted for Obama. A man. Not a black, white or purple man but a man. Have you always been so racist?

I am a white american I wasn't afraid of rioting as much as I was afraid of 4 more years of stupidity so I voted for Obama like the majority of whites

  • Then how do you explain the highest voter turn out in years??

Is it maybe not the fact that people (black, white, yellow, brown) were fed up with the empty promises of the Republicans, the war In Iraq, the credit crunch etc???
