How do you handle people that you don't like?

My friend started dating this guy a few months ago. He's really not a bad guy, but he's just annoying, and to be honest a little creepy. He's just one of those people that you tend to not feel comfortable around. Also, he has this ability to make things awkward--he constantly inserts himself into conversations and laughs at things he doesn't get. He just irks all of us. Except, of course, the friend who is dating him.

Now, how can we handle this? No one likes hanging out with him, but we're not about to sacrifice hanging out with our friend. The problem is, she'll inevitably bring him wherever we're going, and we can't exactly tell her not to.

I feel like it's wrong to complain to her because he's not a bad guy, he treats her right and she really likes him. But no one wants to see him.

I have a friend who is that way. You either learn to ignore them or ignore the little things they do that annoy you. That's all you can do if you don't want to confront your friend about it.

I 2nd Teeny in this one. The only thing other than that is to organise things behind your friend's back and exclude her which isn't really an option is it. Or tell your friend to maybe leave the b/f out a few times but be honest as to why.

Anything you do other than ignore his quirky ways is going to hurt someones feelings. Sorry to say it but you may be kinda stuck with him for the time being. Relationships do fall apart...but it's not good etiquette to help them do so or wish it to happen to a friend.
