Is anyone else surprised that there were no riots or damage causing celebrations after the Obama win?

I have to say that I'm proud of the black communities across the nation for not getting over zealous in their celebration. You all should be praised for the excellent way that you accepted victory. Congratulations to all of you for this special moment in history that you all can take pride in. I hope he is able to meet the high expectations that he has created for himself.
