Definitely. But I think in a lot of relationships the love is one-sided (one person is in love with the other, but their love is not returned). And some marriages are completely loveless.

I absolutely believe in love between a man and a woman. Is it a game? Maybe, but it's possible to perceive of everything that happens to us in life as being part of a game. If it's not a game, what is it? A burden? A challenge? An opportunity? It's not only possible for true love to exist between a man and a woman, it actually happens for quite a few people. What's also true is that many people end up being cynical and saying and feeling negative things about love. Is it love's fault, or could it be that some people just aren't all that great having having and sustaining relationships? From what I can tell, love between a man and a woman can truly exist, but so can love between a man and a man, a woman and a woman and any other combinations anybody can come up with. If fact, it may be possible to love yourself, other people and all that exists in creation. If that's part of a game, I'd like to keep playing!

Hiya trouble!lol! we, man n woman, through evolution and religion, have introduced a relitivley new theory to the game called...L..O...V...E Religion is responsible through its theory that stability brings in a steady income ergo more regular donations to the burger(for example) and evolution because as humans we no longer believe we are simple animals(which we are) due to the fact we have evolved so far that we believe religion gumph(fear of death) Its only 2000 yrs ago this love thing was introduced as love before that it was merely a yearning for someone an animal instict if you will. like lobsters,seahorses and swans, they mate for life! is that love? or merely a desire to keep your species alive? by selecting the bes6t on offer at that time? I think love can be between anyone regardles of sexuality. It is a game in some ways I suppose, a lot of power play and working out the specific rules to the relationship. But true love is putting the other person entirely first, and that isn't a game.

I do believe there can be real love between a man and woman. It can be hard to find sometimes...but it's worth the wait. I am happily married to a wonderful man and our love is real and deep and committed. God is love and He created it love for a man and woman to be a picture of the love of Christ and the church. The right one is out there...don't give up hope! :)

I believe you can love more than one person at a time, and that the more you love and the more actively, the more you CAN love.

Love is not real. It's all chemicals in the brain. There's no such thing as true love... it's all about who you feel comfortable with, or who can control you, or being scared of living alone.

regardless of how love happens (the biological reasons) its still feels real to us ....and yeah, i believe in it. ...but not JUST between a man and a woman.

as far as reproduction.....we humans are too smart and too complicated to fall for simple mating urges ... we need complex courtships, and eventually we fall in LOVE (the obsessive, sexual kind) to trick us.... and to draw us in, to ensure that we mate and propagate the species

so, love is a tool (or trick?) of evolution to get us to mate

after the reproduction years, i think people remain together for a different kind of love..."companionship"
