Maximum amount of time for Venison to be marinating in wine?
Ist time I've gone with "Vino" aka wine. Have had it marinating for 24hrs. Pre-thanks in order ;)...< ' ( (( > <

Ususally 4-8 hours, a day would work too.
Don't forget to marinate yourself in some vino when partaking of the
venison !
1/4 cup chianti
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 TBLS lemon juice
5-6 turns from the peppermill
good dash of Kosher Salt
1 hablano pepper, seeded and minced
Mix all together, add venison, seal in a ziplock bag, let it sit in the fridge all day, grill to medium rare - enjoy with a baked potato w/ sour cream and a Ceasar salad.
Wash it down with a glass of Chianti or a bottle of Bass ale

You have it good so far with 24 hours unless you inject the meat which can cut down your time.But it depends on the thickness of the cut you are marinating.So keep an eye on it and make sure to fip over to get a full cover of marinade over all of the meat!
