Forgiven that's completely inconsistent with the notion of an omnipotent being who should know who does and does not choose him. Are you completely intellectually bankrupt?

Update 5:

I also believe that there is a creator, as far as I'm concerned that point is not to be argued. However, I do feel all Judeo-Christian religion was and is to this day a tool for control. Written by Hebrews for Hebrews, even the Torah. Bible prophecy only has parallels in our existence because people make it so. It is possible despite what we're taught to be a decent human, with morals, and respect for life without man made deities. I attack the Bible because it is so obvious to me people are being controlled with it. If only we could set aside our differences and love each other, love for God would not be an issue. He, she, it, whatever put you here to love one another. Instead killing in the name of God continues to this day.

ALL religions are tools for control. Remember Religions are man-made except for the ones that are "alien derived". There is NO such thing as a religion of God. I too believe in the Prime Creator and I pray directly to Him and I KNOW for sure that He/She exists. The Prime Creator is behind the current upgrade from 3D to 5D in order to allow us to be able to think intuitively and keep up with creation since the old Ages that used to take 1.2 billion years are now moving at 360 days and faster.

Remember the Bible was written by MANY different people and then re-printed by monks over hundreds of years. Updates and modifications were done by those who created the English versions after the Greek and Israeli versions were first introduced, along with KIng James and others. Whenever you see a Bible that condemns GAY people or homosexuals, you know it is false since the term was not coined until the 1800's and during the Bible times people would snicker when they saw two guys or gals holding hands but it was NOT an issue back then.

Even Jesus clearly states in the Bible to LOOK WITHIN when you are seeking God. The WITHIN refers to looking within oneself. God is a part of us all and is not something or someone who can be taught to us by a priest or minister. God is a personal entity to EACH person and God is FELT, not learned.

God does not condone killing anyone or any living being.

My favorite religious STATEMENT is from Wiccan "Harm YE No One!". That one covers it all and says it all and leaves no question. EAsy to translate and easy to understand. Even a Caveman or Xian can understand that. GEICO! Sorry ... just a bit of bad humor there. No offense to Christians or CAvemen.

    Peace, Love, and Light!

I am not going to argue the point of the Bible.

I do believe that there is a god. I also believe that people are corrupt, and this is a at least 2,000 year old book. How could it not get changed over time?

What I would like to point out is that...

    1. Over just the past 50 years, what really happened in our world, and what was written in history books are two entirely different things.

    2. The Bible was not written in English. Through translation, some words might not mean the same things, and people could have made mistakes translating it.

    3. The Bible is a conglomeration of books, and a select group (Roman Catholics) got together a few hundred years ago and decided for us which books belong in the Bible. Anything that didn't match the Catholic religion got pitched.

    4. A couple hundred years ago David Koresh could quite possibly have reached the fame of Joesph Smith, and be a claimed prophet with his own 'bible', and religion.

    5. With the world events of current, the book of Revelation appears to be at least somewhat correct.

Wisdom is the ability to look at everything with an open mind.

Why are you wasting your time on something that you don't believe? I don't think you are going to change the minds of people who choose to live their lives for Christ.

But I will like to correct one of them...

EX 12:13 The Israelites have to mark their houses with blood in order for God to see which houses they occupy and "pass over" them.

PR 15:3, JE 16:17, 23:24-25, HE 4:13 God is everywhere. He sees everything. Nothing is hidden from God.

Who ever believed in God they marked their doorways with blood so that their first born was not killed. Whoever chose to NOT believe, their first born was killed. It wasn't that God couldn't see.

    READ the Bible!

First, you have to believe the bible and believe that Jesus is God's son. The bible is a book you believe or you don't. The bible says that any person who takes away or adds to the bible is cursed. That was in the old bible. Jesus took away our sins. God said to mark the doors so the death angel would not kill the first born because Pharoah would not let God's people go. God is everywhere and you can not run or hide from God. He is Great..The reason you can not look upon his face is because of his Beauty and Light. He is Pure..

Bible difficulties, or apparent Bible contradictions, exist. The opponents of Christianity often use them in their attempts to discredit Christianity. Sometimes these attacks undermine the faith of Christians who either don't understand the issues or don't have the resources to deal with them.

Opponents of Christianity will cite what they consider a Bible contradiction or difficulty by comparing one verse to another (or more) that seems to disagree with the first. In doing this, several verses are often referenced as being contradictory or problematic. Therefore, to make this section of CARM easy to use, it is arranged by verse for easy lookup. Since many of the same "difficulties" deal with one verse in opposition to another or even several others, I have listed all the verses addressed in the same answer. This makes the initial list look larger than it really is. For example, how many animals did Noah bring into the ark? Genesis 6:19-20 says two while Gen. 7:2-3 mentions seven. Therefore, both verses are listed and both links point to the same answer.

The Originals are Inspired, not the copies.

What a lot of Christians don't know is that the autographs (original writings) are inspired, not the copies. The autographs are the original writings, the original documents penned by the biblical writers. The copies are copies of inspired documents. The copies are not themselves "inspired"; that is, they have no guarantee of being 100% textually pure. But don't worry, the Bible manuscripts are 98.5% textually pure and only are very small amount of information is in question because we have repetitive facts, instructions, and information found elsewhere in the Bible. Nevertheless, through the copying method over the years, various textual problems have arisen. Following is a list of the types of errors that have occurred in copying the manuscripts. I've used English as examples instead of going into the original languages for examples.

Oh yeah, big time. I pretty much just filter everything through the Great Commandments and the Golden Rule. A lot of it is rubbish, typical political spin, thousands of years removed.

About half way down on the left under the lable "Bible Difficulties"

    Read and learn.

    edit

And I would be willing to bet that 95% of what you listed is a simple matter of context.

    edit

My my thumbs down. I see we have no intentions of learning something that might prove you wrong and the bible right, how bigoted.

    Of course it contains inconsistencies.

Of course, right now I'm giggling because you did so much work to "prove" something that I already knew!
