    As of November 8, the count was: Obama 65,340,608 (53.25%) and McCain 57,358,053 (46.75%). The percents do not include votes for other candidates, which made up about 3.3% of the total. Including those, Obama received 52.6% and McCain 46.1%.

    Something like 62 million to 57 million I believe...each side rounded to the lowest million for easier remembering. The total number of voters was about the same as 2004.

    About 130 million voted. Popular vote : 52% Obama, 44% McCain the rest went to other parties. Electoral votes; 364 Obama 164 McCain ( or so - do not remember exact numbers)
