What kind of doctor do you go to for a b12 vitamin injection?

Update:

i heard b12 shots were a way to get additional nutrition and overall health and energy boost. i just have a really busy life and have little energy despite eating healthy and working out. any other suggestions on how to get more energy and just feel better all together?

Your regular physician can usually provide it to you if you have a deficiency.

A quack, for one. Except for rare cases of malabsorption, injections are not necessary for most people. From the link given below:

"For example, vitamin B12 shots are lifesaving in cases of pernicious anemia, but giving them frequently to "pep you up" is s sign of poor judgment, greed, or both."

Any General Practioner, Medical Doctor, Internist, any of them can help. Usually it's the nurse who gives it after the order is written. The doctor won't do it though unless it is medically necessary to be prepared to sit and chat with him first.
