Did you get a Push Present?

If you don't know it's a gift that your husband/significant other gives you after you give birth. I didn't know if it was just a cultural thing.

No- And I thought I really deserved one. I had a fairly tough pregnancy- 9 months of morning sickness, a DVT that made me have to stay in the hospital for a week, then after that twice daily blood thinner injections. And a c-section to top it all off.

I really wished I gotten one. I know it sounds silly and maybe juvenile but it would have been a nice gesture by my husband.

I got a necklace and earring set that he bought from the hospital gift shop lol.

But my son was the best present ever, so I didn't mind.

my then husband bought me a white gold heart on a chain, in the middle of the heart was a small diamond. my hubby said it was to remind me of the time my son spent in my womb (diamond in the middle of the heart) It was so unexpected and it means so much to me- its my mummy necklace LOL!
