is it possible to break a bone in the top of your foot?
i was at a dance and some random girl acsedently stepped on my with her heel it hurt so bad and then there was like this big bumb and a scartch surronded by like a bruise it hurts when you touch it but another then that i can walk fine the bump went down but its still blue -- i dont think its broken but i was just wondering if it was possible

yes it's possible, and if the heel was pointed it could have put enough pressure on one spot to break a small bone in your foot.

Yes, it is possible, but more likely is that she sprained your foot at a particular joint between foot bones. It sounds as if it is only bruised with maybe a blood blister? If it is not painful to walk then you are probably ok. The blood blister will eventually be absorbed. If it continues to cause you pain, get it checked out by an M.D.

Yes, My husband had a broken bone in his foot for months and never knew until he would workout then it would bother him. Go to the dr to be on the safe side. If it is broken, you'll get the healing over with faster if you wear the boot they give you.

Any bone has the possibility of being broken.
If you can walk on it and move your toes, it's probably just a really bad bruise.

Ya. its possible to break any bone in your body. All it requires is a deep enough crack. I would definetly reccomend going to the doctor, especially if it continues to hurt.

theres no top of your foot its just a flat 'plate' of bones.
