after all its his idea ,so why not start with his family.

    If he gets anything he should send it to Charity and spread the wealth. Take her whole lifes work and give it someone who didnt work.

    Presidents cannot pass legislation. That is up to Congress. Your question therefore is meaningless. Besides, Obama is not even yet President. He has 171 days to get into office. Lastly there is expo facto (after the fact) You can not make a retroactive law.

    The death tax affects around 1% of the population. When we got rid of it all Americans paid for it.

    If anyone is smart, they form trusts so that there is no death tax. Anyone with any assets should do this. She probably only had a small estate, as they were never rich people.

    The dead are exempt form all laws. Not even the government can charge a dead person with a crime.

    Do you think she's leaving a million plus behind? If not, it's not a problem. I know it doesn't affect me personally.
