How do I change a name associated with an ID?
Several months ago, I updated my contact info on my Yahoo account, when I joined a group from my camp, so it would say me and my girl fiends name..... no problem......
Well... we broke up... and now thanks to yahoo's redoing their accounts... I can't update it anymore... so it seems I'm stuck.. unless I'm missing the obvious.

This seems to be a problem Yahoo did not take into account and seems to be doing little about. It may be resolved in time, but don't hold your breath waiting for Yahoo to get anything done right.
Your only immediate option may be to create a new account.
