hi, i am 16, is there an age limit to have an pay pal account? i have a savings account, is it possible for me to transfer money to a pay pal account even though i am under 18? also, lets pretend that i have a pay pal account with money in it, is there an age limit to buy something on eBay? even if there is, will they find out if i win an auction and pay with my pay pal account?

PayPal is a godawful provider - heavily. i became into scammed by ability of a purchaser on eBay who payed for my merchandise then tried to get the a refund from PayPal. They obliged, and then tried to take the money from me - even however I had sent my merchandise to the shopper!! the shopper provider is likewise horrendous. i could stay sparkling if I have been you and use an selection like No Chex

To answer your question, in the UK it would be 18. Under that age you are not able to enter into a leally binding contract. Don't knw about your nation (USA?) perhaps 21?

i setup a paypal account when i was 16 and never had any problems although on ebay i know you have to be 18 but i just had my parents setup my account using their info.
