Republicans. Will you give Obama a chance?

Since Obama has been elected are you willing to give him an opportunity to better our country? He may not have been you pick, but he was the pick of most of the country.

He has yet to make any official decisions and yet I have already seen Impeach Obama stickers.

Update:

Most Democrats were upset with the way Bush won granted, but we did give him a chance, and after 9/11 he was untouchable, everyone rallied around him. We did give Bush a chance, but he blew it.

Update 2:

Respect? No wonder you don't get any. I am a proud card carrying member of the ACLU and a member of moveon. And you said those things like they were bad things? My grandmother has Alzheimer's so I am pissed Bush banned stem cell research the way he did, trying seeing someone with a disease like that and tell me we should not do everything in our power to help them. Women are going to have abortions anyway, why not have something good come from it?

I haven't made any personal attacks on Obama during this campaign so I'm not going to start now. I've listened to so much hate-filled insults in the last eight years that I'm not going to be like that.

I will support Obama as much as I can while still wanting him to fail at creating more gun laws, eliminating school vouchers, giving amnesty to illegal immigrants, and instituting a governmental health care program. I want him to fail at passing the Fairness Doctrine, legalizing elective late term abortions, changing the constitution, and establishing a private militia. I want him to fail at limiting the rights of the states to set restrictions on abortion and I cannot support stem cells from fetuses when we have better technology. I want him to fail at forcing law-abiding children to work in community service without pay. And I want him to fail at stopping the passage of English as our national language.

If there is an issue that I agree with Obama, I'd be happy to support him on that particular issue. But I'm not going to suddenly change my views just because he was voted in as president. That would be an unreasonable expectation. I intend to fight for what I believe in, just as you do. I'm not going to compromise what I believe in, just as you won't.

CBH... He has Already made very clear some of his decisions he plans on making which I have no doubt in my mind he will carry out. He owes financial supporters who supported his campaign such as the very leftist liberal group move on.com. and the ACLU. He already plans on lifting restrictions on embryonic stem cell research. This research will not survive without an adequate supply of aborted fetuses.

And where do you suppose those will come from ? Well you see Obama already has that planned to with the implementation of his new freedom of choice act restricting states from placing restrictions on abortions. If you voted for this man you cant take that back. But you better wake up. This guy is no good.

What choice do we have since over 60 million morons voted him into office.

They will be the ones that are sorry they did. Will you accept that?

Bush did not blow his chances, and even small minded people like you know that.

Read the link and see who Bill Clinton blames the crisis on.

edit: of course the dems were upset that Bush won the votes needed in Florida to win the presidency. Btw, the dems are in the process of trying to steal an election in MN. Check it out.

Do we have a choice? And how long did it take the democrats to stop crying foul and the you stole the election on Bush?

It shouldnt be eye for an eye but were does it stop and were does it begin? we tried this 8 years ago then 4 years ago, now your ready? I might jsut be "that guy" out of spite now lol.

first of all, i do no longer bear in mind any Democrat or liberal giving President Bush any slack everywhere at every time. maximum does not even say he became elected in a valid trend. So, i'm no longer extremely specific the place you're coming from. Secondly, President Obama has surrounded himself with anti-American, anti-freedom, corrupt and questionable people at each turn in his existence. He did this earlier he became elected and he has persevered the style by utilising lots of his nominations. He needs somebody to run the IRS that dodged taxes? The Governor of his domicile state became impeached. The Governor of Nevada who he nominated for a place dropped out with the aid of fact of corruption costs. It in no way ends with Obama yet he gets a bypass by utilising the media at each turn. And, i'm with Rush, i do no longer choose his socialist regulations to prevail. i do no longer choose his Porculus bill to bypass. Obama mentioned the days of pork could be over and then he promotes the biggest pork bill interior the history of our usa. he's a left-wing, old college baby-kisser that promotes socialist regulations and that i'll in elementary terms help him whilst it includes protecting our usa and if he promotes tax cuts, spending cuts and maximizing our guy or woman freedoms. If he starts merchandising the values of our Founding Fathers then i'm going to help him. i could be this type no rely who became President. i did no longer help President Bush on many stuff for the comparable motives. My values do no longer substitute whilst the President does. God Bless united statesa.

  • I'll give him the same chance that liberals have been giving President Bush for the last 8 years. That means I will put the most nasty and insulting bumper sticker calling Obama the sack of crap that he is just as soon as he takes office. You sanctimonious liberal hypocrites make me gag.

obviously you are mentally challenged belonging to an anti american group like the ACLU.how did Dem's give bush a chance, they blocked reforms on mortgages ,they blocked domestic oil exploration, every chance they got the did everything they could to make bush look bad.

  • 1 decade ago

Well, we have no choice but to give him a chance. He wasn't the choice of "most" he was the choice of the majority, which is an important distinction.

  • 1 decade ago

oh puhlease. you gave bush no such thing. clinton IGNORED bin laden with six bonafide chances to capture or kill him in the sudan and did nothing. bush got non stop villification and clinton got a pass. HOW IS THAT GIVING HIM A CHANCE??? the answer is no. i see no need to look at unwarranted marxism with an open mind. its still marxism PERIOD.

If he begins to show any signs of Hitler tendency. He should immediately be impeached. Other than that, i say give him a chance.
