Magpul Industries is the one that made that prototype. The Glock company itself had nothing to do directly in it's concept.
I contacted Magpul about 6 months ago when I first saw those videos to ask them if they intended to actually produce that for sale and was told NO. It is a non-firing prototype only. (The guy says right in the video that they don't have any plans on producing it as well)
It was made just to see if it was even functional or feasible.
I do agree that it would be the ultimate "cool" concealed handgun to have. Being that it is a handgun with a shoulder stock, it would automatically become a NFA firearm and we as "lowly" civilians would have to wade through all of the red tape to own one should it ever actually be manufactured for sale .

I stand corrected...I had forgotten about the GCA of 1986.

I have heard about this and as far as I know it is still only a prototype, but even so it is a neat concept. Unfortunately we as civilians would never be able to legally own one.
EDIT: To Mark. We as regular civilians could not even wade through red tape to get one. Since 19 May, 1986, no machine guns (full auto weapons) have been allowed to be made for civilian purchase. What this means is that if it were to become a reality, we could not own one unless we were with the military or a law enforcement agency.

I hope its reality because I want one. On a serious note, Im sure it will be available to Military and Goverment party's not civilian.
