Why do no one has good grammar and spelling?

Haha, you run into that everywhere. I think it's just lazyness. I know i get lazy and stop using english correctly.

The internet and texting on cell phones have played a big part in the decline of proper grammar and spelling. But before that even, a lot of younger people just got lazy and didn't try to converse with proper english. A while back there was a bit on the news that some employers were sending new employees to a class for spelling/grammar because so many of today's younger generation could not speak or write sufficiently enough to conduct business with the general public. Also many young people today can't operate a cash register and make change unless they use the register tell them the amount to return to the customer.

Seriously, you need a freakin translator(as opposed to a non-freakintranslator) to decipher half the questions and answers on this site...doesn't anyone know how to communicate in English?

why DO no one, didn't you mean why doesn't anyone Have good grammar and spelling? My bet is sloppiness and laziness are the top 2 reasons.

You're not that much better, Jack. I hate text type and can't read them, but for spelling errors, I tend to think that people are to quick to post something without proof reading, like you did.

If you scroll down, you will also note that a lot of countries post questions on this site and not everyone from, I don't know...let's say New Zealand knows proper English grammar.

I would agree with you and say that because of all the shorthand in texting that occurs, younger people have gotten away from the actual words and use shorthand to text faster.

I do think that it is funny that you bring up this question and your question has errors in it. It should be, "Why doesn't anyone have good grammar & spelling?"

Does it bother you? Not everyone has perfect spelling and grammar. Humans aren't perfect. With their imperfect grammar and spelling, you still understand what their trying to say right? Ok. If it bothers you, YOU'RE A DISGRACE TO YOUR FAMILY.

Actually, to word that question correctly you would need to ask "Why doesn't anyone have good grammar and spelling anymore?"

HAHAHA! well dats coz ppl dont be reading much books these days. They have tv's and movies and loads more fun entertainment. And if they wana know anyfing, they dont needa read much coz they can just ask it on Yahoo! answers like you did u c!
