Problem with Print Spooler?

I am having a problem where my printer spooler eats up all of my system resources when I start the computer. I know this is the problem because when i go and disable it with msconfig, the computer runs normally. The only strange thing is no printers are listed under Printers and Faxes. Any ideas?

    Hi Tim

Go in the printer preferneces and checkmark, "print directly to printer". This way, you won't be using the spooler. You probably have this checked or if you can't see that first option, there is an option that states "print directly after first page isspooled".

    Hope this helps
