Where would Vancouver finish if Bieksa, Salo and Ohlund ever each played 82 games in a season?

Just a hypothetical.

It's tough to think of any team with good defensemen who are so prone to injury. And it's tough to think of any team whose defensemen (and goalie of course) are more important for that team winning or losing.

I asked it because Bieksa again is hurt after again doing extremely well. And supposedly Salo's coming back but he was hurt - again - before Bieksa went down. I remember a few seasons ago, they had to bring guys up with zero NHL experience and almost no minor league experience b/c so many D were out for them. Boy they have brittle D.

Probably winning their respective division and finishing 3rd in the Western Conference.

Brittle D and the tragedy of Luc Bourdon hurt their depth....I think he would have contributed this year.

Although, D hasn't been their problem over the last extended period of time.....the problem has been O....as in offence.

Hope they stay healthy. Err...last season... May be they will make it to the playoffs, they have more scoring this season too (probably because of healthy D).

    Just short of the playoffs.
