Should someone be able to get something extra for just simply having an in persay?
This is more opinionated. Does an owner have a right to give someone free services/ products to friends? I have a friend with a small Business. When I came to use his service not only did he give it to me free but gave me a membership card to his place for the future in case he is not there to give it to me free. The Business is very successful, but I don't know if I should show the card to get in free. He let me once should I take advantage of this. Yes or no and why please.

The person to answer you would be a Tax Attorney or an Accountant.
If they are incorporated, the services rendered and not paid for need to be accounted for in the books. I know this from my sister's experience with her own poor bookkeeping of her business.
There ARE laws that must be followed - but until someone calls the owner on the carpet, it would probably not become an issue. Ask an accounting firm in your area for an answer to this - so you can get information current to the laws in your area.
Peace.
