Does anyone know the soonest a president-elect was invited to the White House after an election? It seems som?
are sooner than others. I am curious whom was invited the quickest and whom was left till the last minute. Anyone having knowledge of or websites that give that information will be greatly appreciated. If I were betting, I might think Barack Obama was the fastest invite on record......any ideas? Thanks!

There is no definitive answer. I would bet that it comes down to both the President -elect's schedule and the current President's schedule. Sooner the better but I believe it simply comes down to accommodating both schedules.
Its really not all that important. Try going to the White House web page and look for the section on protocol.
