What are you reading now? Is it any good?

I am curious as to what everyone's reading now... I've recently read and reread Twilight, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Belgariad, Dark Hunters, Anita Blake, Meredith Gentry, Rile Jensen, Kitty Corville and Mercy Thompson... Any suggestions

Have you tried Patricia Brigg's latest, Cry Wolf? That's a good one, especially if you enjoyed Mercy.

I also recommend Kelley Armstrong's Bitten/Broken/Stolen trio of books, and Exit Strategy, for the paranormal romance.

Liked Anita Blake? Try Kate Daniels, by Ilona Andrews. My alltime favorite series.

    Good luck!

The first book is one that I just finished reading, literally, called "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. I first saw the book on the Stephenie Meyer website. I looked at the book online but wasn't sure it was anything for me. I also looked at the author's website and saw she had only done kind of a younger children's book series, so I then really didn't think about reading it. I read another book, which I recommend here now- called "The Time Traveler's Wife" by Aydrey Niffenegger - GREAT BOOK! I am making all my friends that like to read and love a great story read that book. I think everyone should - it is a very amazing story and I haven't read anything quite like it before. So I came back to "The Hunger Games". I started reading it late last night and had to make myself stop because I had to go to bed to be ready for work. I feel dumb for waiting as long as I did to read it! I just finished it and it was AWESOME! Just great! I'd say great for almost anyone! I couldn't put it down. I didn't want it to end!!! (luckily on the last page I see there will be another book coming... so it didn't fully end) and that was a more than happy surprise!!! It would take me too long to tell you why you need to read these two books- they are the kind of books that are complicated and you just need to read them. Also, for the skeptics out there, I did read the Twilight Series, I do love them which is why I decided to read a book that Stephenie Meyer said was good. She loves a ton of classics and great books so for those out there who read some of Twilight and can tell that her actual writing skills aren't the best and thus might discount something she likes, please don't. Different authors and style of writing, completely DIFFERENT story all together. Nothing alike except the main character is a female. Also that they are both awesome stories. (imo for those who bash Twilight because of some of the writing techniques, I say look beyond that and see the STORY there.)

Okee, done with my rant. If anyone didn't read all that here are the two books I recommend:

The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins

The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger

The Mage Winds trilogy by Mercedes Lackey for the hundredth something time. I love these books.

I'm also re-reading Sunshine by Robin McKinley and Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon, because I have a short attention span and keep switching through the books.

I am currently reading The Drawing of the Three by Stephen King. It is the second book in his Dark Tower series. I like the books. They're actually original (and with fantasies, that's hard to come by). King didn't rip off JRR Tolkien -- he made his own world unlike any other. I respect that. The writing is, as usual with his work, great. I'm enjoying the books, and I recommend them to anyone who likes a good fantasy and is open to new things.

Read The Warrior Heir. You will love it. Its a young adult trilogy. Its a little like Harry Potter only more political and modern (but its unique, I mean its not a copy cat or anything)

Right now i'm reading a smut novel my boyfriends mom let me borrow. But that's not what i'm going to suggest :)
