Best way to heat a sheltered space ?
I want to heat a 10x10 dog kennel and keep the temp about 40*F. It has a peaked tarp roof that I will need to add an insulated layer to. The sides have insulation boards. This is where I house my show rabbits so the way I heat it will need to be safe. Efficiency/ cost is second.

I find the most effecient heat source for pets is the Lectro Kennel heat mats. They are 102 degrees f. , and very comfortable to lay or sit on, and warm the animal, not the air, so more price effective. They are also pretty chew proof, and wire wrapped cords...but rabbits are even heavier chewiers than dogs, so you might have to put them under a floor board . You can get them at www.revivalanimal.com
Another thing I like for my animals is the oil radiator heaters, with the thermostats.
