Should Obama really be worried about this?

Obama wants to reignite the search for Osama Bin Laden, but many think he might already be dead. Do you think this search is justifiable or do you think it'll be a waste of our money?

Update:

Okay, um nobody said I voted for him...

If intelligence, real intelligence, suggests that he is still alive, than yes we should search for the murderer of thousands of people from all over the globe. Hopefully, he is burning in Hell at this moment however.

  • The search for Bin laden has been ongoing for more than 10 years.

IMHO, the war in Iraq is/was a diversion and was a mistake, since it took the focus of effort off of Bin Laden and instead became a vengeance game against Saddam Hussein by GWBush. Blame Bush for Bin Laden still being alive.

Had the Prez increased forces in Afghanistan instead of diverting them to Iraq, Bin Laden would have been found by now, or killed, according to most Army and CIA sources. That also brings up the question of Bush providing airplanes to fly members of the Bin Laden and Saud families out of the U/S. right after 9/11.

And almost ANYTHING about looking for Bin Laden in Pakistan and Afghanistan would be cheaper than the $10 BILLION+ that Bush spends in Iraq EVERY MONTH

Obama, the Congress, our Armed Forces, the American public and THE WORLD will have their hands full, undoing the damage that Bush and his wrong-headed policies and thoughtlessness have left us with.

Until the have undying truth that osama Bin Laden is dead and that his group no longer exist the search for Bin Laden should be always on the front burner.

Justifiable? We have been waiting for this news since 2001! I don't think it would be a waste of money at all and I think he needs to do this as quickly as possible. Politically it will be good for him and it will be good for our country to be able to breathe a collective sigh of relief when we know once and for all that bastard is finally dead.

Dead or alive, since he was responsible for 9/11, the entire country should want resolution to that, unless you are so jaded by hatred of Obama that it has become your number one emotion, as so many on here are.

On the outside chance that OBL is still alive, Obama has to keep looking for him. Or confirm his death. Even then, there are plenty of others he needs to hunt down. Hopefully, he'll look for them someplace other than in Iraq...

Now you're worried about wasting money? Bush spent 700 BILLION on the WRONG WAR! Sounds like more desperation from the Right.

I think it's justifiable, and we would only act if/once we had actionable intelligence.
