I want my curls back!!!!?
I have naturally curly hair, however, I straiten it so much that it won't curl anymore. When I try and wear it wet and curly I look like a wet puppy.....it looks so gross!
Any ideas on how to get my curls back?
Thanks in advance!

Ive had the same problem..
So if you stop straightening your hair itll start to go back to normal. But it takes awhile..
I use to straighten the heck of my hair n the curls went away and then I realized I missed them. So if you stop straightening it and try to scrunch it and stuff like that it should go back to normal.
So if you get trims like every other month or something.. As the new hair comes in it should start to go back curly!!

well how curly is it? sometimes if its not THAT curly the curl is just kinda lost over the years as u get older- on top of it being so damaged from straightening often.. i dont think they will come back naturally
u could always get a perm if u really want it curly again
but if ur hair is really really curly (mine is) u just dont straighten it for a really long time (i stopped straightening mine the entire summer and it got really nice again!) and wash it every other day and always use conditionar but not always shampoo. use leave in conditioner afterward and make sure u dont use a bristle brush when its just-out-the-shower-wet.. COMB through the tangles first- then brush
and use vitamin hair oils to replenish it. just do that for a long time and it should get nice again
good luck ;]
EDIT
deep condition only ONCE A WEEK! too often fu cks up ur hair!

let it air dry or get a diffuser before you tie it back . use a shampoo / conditioner for curly hair but only shampoo 1 - 2 a week. use a leave in everyday or regularly and deep condition your hair once or even twice a day. hot Oil helps alot too. it brings curls back to life. also use a deep hair mask about once a month. wash your hair with cold water, that will reduce frizz and bring shine. use an anti-frizz cream before style when hair is wet. use mouse for light, thin hair and gel for thick heavy hair. the products you use depends on your hair. so experiment with different brands cause what works for me might not work for you. get your hair cut every 4-8 weeks. you need to stop murdering your hair with that straightener too. you can ask any curly hair related question at naturallycurly.com
