Whats your opinion on nonverbal communication?
For my communications class we were asked to do a research paper on non verbal communication, part of the research includes peoples opinion on NVC. Please give me your opinion on NVC in general.

I know that NVC is something over 50% of communication (some estimates are more than 90%). Subtle body language, facial expressions, tone of voice, all of this is important to really understanding. A lot of this is lost in online communication, which is why we needed to invent smileys to express emotions, but it's still not sufficient. Sarcasm especially is hard to convey via text.
A picture is worth a thousand words - think about that. Seeing a person's face can tell you a LOT more about their mood than a "How R U?" "OK" convo.

I think nonverbal communication means more than talking. There are more meanings behind silence. Actually, your face or your action shows your feelings more clearly than just talk. Sometimes, telling stories can be fake, but nonverbal communication always shows the real you.
