Has WWE been hinting at a Shawn Michaels/Undertaker match at Wrestlemania?

The WWE knows we want it. They will probably give it to us. But for now it's fun, because it was a nice little tease.

Their paths have crossed the last 2 Royal Rumbles. I'm not going to speculate on Wrestlemania XXV. I just know, I've bought tickets and will be there. Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker wrestled several times from 1995-1997, but not much since then. I'm not certain who I want to see the Undertaker wrestle at Wrestlemania XXV. He's had great matches against Batitsta, Edge and the Big Show in recent years. Shawn Michaels has shown he can carry anyone to a great match. I think the WWE may match him against John Morrison at Wrestlemania. John Morrison superkicked Shawn at Raw this past Monday. I can see a rivalry developing between the two.

The only reason why Taker and HBK were starring at each other (which J.R., I think, made the WRONG remark) was because that was a night celebrating Raw's history, and anybody watching Raw since the mid to late 90s knows the HISTORY between HBK and Taker, particularly how Taker's feud with Michaels sort of transpired the same time HBK and HHH formed DX.

I don't know why J.R. made the "I don't know what that's about" comment, as I'm almost certain that Vince probably was expecting J.R. or Lawler to say something like "HBK and Taker! Another historic rivalry we've seen over the years on Raw!!", or SOMETHING to that effect...to make reference to the old rivalry they had.

yes they have been hinting a match between Taker and HBK. They seem to do this a lot like with the Lesnar/Goldberg fued and they did that a lot with Austin and The Rock.

yes, wwe has some of the best script writers in the entertainment industry, hints towards things start long before and subtly grow and grow, remember with the whole who ran down the rock saga, unexpected but foreseeable
