There is rumors being spreaded about me... And I dont know how to stop it.?

This is a very long story. But I will give 10 points to whoever helps me.

So I went to a Halloween Party and one of my best guy friends were there. I`ll admit it I sorta liked him... And he sorta liked me back. But I barley flirted with him because I had a boyfriend. There was another girl that I barley knew. Actually I didn't even know her at all. I ONLY knew her name and she only knew mine. So, this one girl... lets give her a name... Lets say Kat. Kat really likes my guy friend. But since I was flirting with him she got MAJORLY jealous. So that whole night she thought I was just one major slut because I was flirting with her man and I had a boyfriend. Personally I really don't think I did anything wrong. So for the rest of that night I was hanging with my friends... But not my guy friend.

So on monday the weekend after the party. My friend Elle told me that Kat thinks im a slut because I was flirting with my guy friend. So, I knew she was just jealous. I just ignored it for a while.

About a week ago... My friends were telling me that people were telling them that I was a slut!!! So I knew who started that... Yup! Kat. i never let that bring me down. So I just moved on....

So, Kat asked out my guy friend and he said yes. So they went out for a couple of days. but then something happened.... And honestly I really dont know what happened. But my guy friend texted me and said that he was breaking up with Kat. ( The day before I got that text I broke up with my boyfriend because it just wasnt working out...) So I told him I was sorry that he broke up with Kat. So I thought he broke up with her. So I told him I was single too. So we eventually went out... So on monday we were couddling and people were telling him " OMG what is Kat going to say ? " So, I said, " YOU DIDN`T BREAK UP WITH KAT YET? " He then told me that he was going to break up with her that day... I was like.... "ok" So, he broke up with her and she got hella pist at me!!!!!!!

A couple days later.... (Which is today ) People were still saying I was a slut and a whore. All because I went out with him a day after I broke up with my x boyfriend. And that im not a virgin. And all of this stuff thats really hurtful and not true! So, I got really mad but really upset because my reputation was ruined by this girl who barley knew me... and she is spreading rumors about me because my jackass boyfriend mess up! He`s gonna talk to her. But, I really dont know how much thats going to help... So, when I was walking out the doors to the buses.... I saw her and I quikly walked past her. And I heard her yell to me " BYE SLUT " right in front of my friends.

Please I really dont know what to do. I wanna go to the counsilers... but, is that a sign for weekness. I need an adults help? Oh ya, thats probably just gonna make things worse. I just want her to leave me alone.

If your wondering what grade we are in.....were in 9th. Yup I know what your thinking stupid freshman. Well stupid KAT! Please how can I get my reputation back?
