Help, I have dry skin around my finger nails...?

About this time every year the skin around my finger nails gets extremely dry but applying lotion a couple times a day usually helps. Well this year it's not only dry but also cracked and painful and lotion just isn't doing the trick. Any suggestions?

Maybe you're not using the right kind of lotion (use kiehl's creme de corps)

Also consider wearing gloves while doing dishes, and if you REALLY want to help solve the problem, gloves while showering.

    water damages skin and nails.

    Good luck

make sure you always put lotion on after showering or washing your hands. other than that you can put vaseline or cocoa butter on them and put gloves(the kind doctors wear) on your hands to seal in the moisture
