The internet is 'policed' much more by our authorities than people think. Huge amounts of 'selected' words that will 'flag-up' when used and get the attention of the authorities - or if the authorities have a reason for following up a persons internet habits etc. This rubbish that these authorities 'have to get' legal permission to do this or that - is just that - rubbish. When a government authority needs to get information (from anywhere - any person) - they go and get it - we have 'all' been controlled/watched etc for the last 60yrs. With these middle-east troubles - internet rallying - all governments will have taken some sort of action in their countries regarding the internet - they having seen the power it has - and 'without doubt' they will limit its use by the peoples in the future. There is no way it won't happen - no government (including the UK) will allow an internet sponsored peoples up-rising - only dreamers would disagree. Countries around the world (in the past) have already restricted/stopped the use of the internet for periods of time - they have the control - not the internet users.

You have a computer. Google the particular government entity that you wish to get in contact with. Whether its the IRS, military, state, federal, municipality or county. Be specific in your search.
Lemme guess you aren't the sharpest tool in the shed are ya?

Don't email. That won't get you anywhere. Instead, wait for the specific politician you want to talk to does a town hall meeting and corner them with your question. You can't lose, because usually media is there too.
