Does the Guitar hero 3 guitar work with Rock Band 2?
With the most stressful time of the year rapidly approaching, I want to get my shopping in early. I'm buying for a kid who has the guitar hero 3 guitar, but wants rock band 2. Will his guitar work with Rock Band, or do I need to buy a new one? Personal experience or links would be helpful.
He has an xbox 360, if that matters.

Yes, the guitar works. However, Rock Band also includes drums and a microphone, so if he doesn't have those, he's missing out.

Yes, it does i have the same problem so all u need to get is the drums and microphone and you will be set, so get that and begin to ROCK!!!!

yep u can still use you're gh3 guitar on rockband
