Can I Record Programs Online with Comcast and Watch Them Later?
I'm trying to watch a local television event, but I'm out of area. So, I thought I would watch it online, since I have Comcast. But it's at an inconvenient hour for me. Is there any way for me to record it, and watch it the next day, all on my computer? Thanks!
2 AnswersTiVO & DVRs9 years agoWhere Can I See The COMPLETE version of a dead website?
I'm trying to track down a hopefully archived version of a website called blipdar.com that was taken down. I've looked through a couple archive sites, but these don't offer much more then screenshots of the first few pages. If I try to click on say, forum posts in the website, they aren't saved. Is there any way to see the complete version of the website even though it's no longer active? The internet is forever so theoretically all the content should be out there somewhere right?

11 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoCan someone good at finding music help me find this song? "Everything to me" by "Bad Apples"?
I heard the song in a videogame my cousin was playing (Tiger Wood's PGA tour 2007). It stuck with me and I looked it up on itunes, but no success. I also was unable to find it on Youtube, rhapsody, or any other site. The song is "everything to me" by the artist "Bad Apple". If someone skilled in tracking down music could assist me, I would be most grateful. If it helps, the beginning of the song has no words, and it has a mellow, relaxing, tone.
1 AnswerOther - Music1 decade agoDoes the Guitar hero 3 guitar work with Rock Band 2?
With the most stressful time of the year rapidly approaching, I want to get my shopping in early. I'm buying for a kid who has the guitar hero 3 guitar, but wants rock band 2. Will his guitar work with Rock Band, or do I need to buy a new one? Personal experience or links would be helpful.

I'm in a picture, so I copied it and tried to paste it on a word document (so I could save it and post it) but no dice. How do you copy/borrow someone else's picture?

15 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhy Are Abortion "Victims" Accorded Sympathy, But Abortion Doctors Vilified?
Why is the woman who decided, purchased, and initiated the act is a "victim" while the doctor is evil? If abortion is murder, than logically any woman who would have one is completely evil right? Instead, women who have abortions are treated sympathetically, but the doctors who perform them are despicable. Why do you think this is?
4 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhy Are All McCain Supporters "Racists" And All Obama Supporters "Obamabots"?
Why is anyone who supports Barack Obama a mindless automaton? What's truly ironic is people endlessly say "obamabots" over, and over, and over, again, mindlessly and repetitively. Whereas on the flip side, anyone who supports John McCain, for whatever reason, is a racist bastard determined to repress the African-American population.
What's with the need to label people? There may be non-racists supporting McCain and intelligent people supporting Obama, insane as that may sound. Is that really so hard to believe? Can people show each other some respect? We're all humans, and humans don't come in boxes.
13 AnswersElections1 decade agoCan You Spare A Though/Prayer For Obama's Sick Grandmother?
Given his mother and father are dead, the loss of his grandmother would be devastating.Obama told CBS television that he decided to make the exhausting journey half-way across the Pacific to see Dunham -- nicknamed "Toot" -- despite the crush of campaign events as he "got there too late" when his mother Ann Dunham died.
"We knew that she wasn't doing well but, you know, the diagnosis was such where we thought we had a little more time and we didn't. And so I want to make sure that I don't -- I don't make the same mistake twice," Obama said.
"My grandmother's the last one left. She has really been the rock of the family, the foundation of the family. Whatever strength, discipline that I have, it comes from her."
Dunham is reportedly suffering from a broken hip and generally failing health.
Regardless of your political stripe, can you at least keep her in your prayers?
26 AnswersElections1 decade agoDo You Think Sarah Palin REALLY Knows What She's Talking About?
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin went on the attack today, claiming that Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama has longstanding ties to The Weather Channel.
"What does it say about our opponent that he thinks this nation's weather is so imperfect that he needs to be allied with The Weather Channel?" she asked a crowd in Tampa, Fla. "There's a fine line between hating America's weather and hating America herself."
Gov. Palin said that she learned about Sen. Obama's ties to The Weather Channel last week "when I was trying hard to read The New York Times." "They said that Sen. Obama was hanging out with weathermen," she said. "Do we really want to elect someone who has been palling around with meteorologists?"
The Alaska governor went on to attack weathermen themselves: "By saying that the planet is getting warmer, they are waving the white flag of surrender at the sun."
Gov. Palin's latest attacks came on the heels of a new poll showing that the only demographic group that still support her are morons, sometimes referred to by political insiders as "no-information voters."
"It may sound like she's spouting idiocy, but there's a method to her madness," said Tracy Klugian, a Republican strategist. "She's speaking to her base."
In a survey of likely Palin voters, 62 percent said they "strongly disagreed" with the statement "One plus one equals two."
Elsewhere, Sen. John McCain's practice session for the next presidential debate was cut short when his pants burst into flame.
Your thoughts on this interesting new development?

33 AnswersElections1 decade agoHow Do You See McCain Taking Debate #4?
With Obama leading in national and swing state polls, McCain needs either a major victory in the debate or a major Obama gaffe, which is less likely. The focus will be on domestic policy, and undoubtedly, the economy. Since polls show voters think Obama is better equipped to handle the economy, McCain has an uphill fight. What should his strategy be? Going negative doesn't seem to have worked for him so far.
25 AnswersElections1 decade agoDoes Anyone Else Admire McCain For Standing Up To His Supporters?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EDx07JQud8
I'm not a huge fan, but I have to give him props for standing up to his own supporters and admitting Barack Obama is not necessarily the root of all evil, and he was willing to reprimand his supporters when one refered to Obama as an "Arab". Not a huge fan, but I must admit he has class. Agree?
7 AnswersElections1 decade agoHave You Heard The The Alaskan Legislative Panel Concluded Palin Abused Her Power?
Sarah Palin unlawfully abused her power as governor by trying to have her former brother-in-law fired as a state trooper, the chief investigator of an Alaska legislative panel concluded Friday.
Investigator Stephen Branchflower, in a report by a bipartisan panel that investigated the matter, found Palin in violation of a state ethics law that prohibits public officials from using their office for personal gain.
The investigation revealed that Palin's husband, Todd, has extraordinary access to the governor's office and her closest advisers. He used that access to try to get trooper Mike Wooten fired, the report found.
Branchflower faulted Sarah Palin for taking no action to stop that. He also noted there is evidence the governor herself participated in the effort.
The nearly 300-page report does not recommend sanctions or a criminal investigation.
10 AnswersElections1 decade agoAre There Any Conservatives Willing To Admit Fox News Is Biased?
As a liberal-leaning moderate, I'm willing to admit MSNBC, for example, is full of bullshit. Like Fox, it's obvious to anyone with half a brain that it has its own, rather slanted agenda to push. So since I am willing to admit the fallacy of a network I admittedly agree with, are any conservatives prepared to so with Fox?
31 AnswersElections1 decade agoDoes Anyone Else Think Of Sarah Palin As A Genuinely Nice Woman In Way Over Her Head?
She seems to me like a genuinely nice woman who is simply out of her depth. To her credit, she tries, but is simply neither qualified nor competent enough to be Vice President.
