What is a hero?How would you define a "hero"?

A hero is somebody who would not hesitate to help others without any expectations of gratitude or reward. I believe the greatest hero is he who is not known.

A hero is a person who do good all the time to all the people, but don't notice it. hero is a style of life.

A hero is someone who is distinguished by exceptional courage, nobility, and strength.

Someone who fights for cause.

A hero is someone who might be terrified but acts or does something like he/she isn't.

A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life.

Or someone that has stood out as a role model in one's life.

they have done exceptional things humans cannot ordinarily do. they are praised and honored for their works and feats.

most are dead heroes. who do you think is a alive?

Someone who fights selflessly for a worthy cause, or whom puts themselves in harms way for another.

you must almost get killed but still come out with an alive person like Gump. Exactly like Gump.
