Am I obsessed with my Clothing/Materials?
I am a guy. My parents have been arguing that I am obsessed with my clothes and I am very materialistic. Heres how it is: I shop every 2-3 weeks and spend $150-500 at stores like Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, Banana Republic, Ralph Lauren, and J. Crew. I basically refuse to wear anything that isn't name brand. I looove to shop but im not gay. I don't know I just love to go in a store and buy crap. I just went shopping today!!! Well.. I also have a Louis Vuitton keepall 60 that was around $1,300. I have around 30 pairs of shoes and Im sure over 100 shirts... AM I OBSESSED WITH MY CLOTHING/MATERIALS?!?!?!

I don't think that you're really obsessed, maybe you are, but it seems to me that Shopping is kind of a way for you to relax, no?
It's also something REALLY fun and amusing, and although it's good to shop every now and then, i think going every 2-3 weeks and spending that much on clothes is a little ridiculous.
Maybe just ease up on the shopping, go once a month instead of every 2-3 weeks and you'll see that your parents will probably stop nagging you about it, or at least it'll get less :)
So the answer, No, you're not obsessed, its just a form of relaxation/fun for you. =)

Your probably just going through a phase. Just know that as you get older, people start to just not care as much about brand names, etc. That's not what matters. Try putting more of your money into going places and doing things. How bout a good old dinner and a movie, or spend a day at an amusement park, take a trip?

First off, if your parents are flipping the bill for all this crap they are just as much to blame... If you are already working to pay for your own way then you have a right to buy what you want. If not, you are going to geta big surprise when your parents kick you out on your broke a$$ and you have to live in a cardboard box to afford to feed your insanity...
Personally, I see you as being very materialistic...

Honestly, its just Silly, you only need so much of the same clothing, i have got like 50 Pairs of Shirts, and 100 pairs of T-shirts too, and i find that i have wasted all my Money, you ask why?
Because i never have the time to wear 100 different shirts and 100 different shoes, or 100 different pairs of jeans either.
hope this helps dude.

You can't figure yourself out on your own? You're more than obsessed with clothing and materials. You're obscene.

It would be a lie to say no...wow I think you need help (I'm not being sarcastic). You should ask yourself if your clothes are a security blanket.
