Can I have my son's name removed from my title?

I own a property in b.c., Canada. My son is on my title as joint tenant. He has never contributed to the purchase of this property. He is now married and the marriage is very rocky. Can I have his name removed from my title so his wife in event of a divorce doesn't end up owning part of my property? If so, how long does it take to have his name removed??

See what the laws are in your country. In U.S. you can sign a quit claim deed.....however, if there is any mortgage on the property, the lender will have to decide if they will let you remove another name. Good luck.

Is there a mortgage on the property? Is HIS name on the mortgage? if yes, then there probably is not enough Equity(IF any) to worry about
