Don't you find it interesting...?

....how much the questions have changed in the Environmental section of Y!A? During the whole Inconvenient Truth craze the questions (and most answers) were of the "sky is falling" tenor. Now, there seems to be more skeptics and fewer fanatics. What changed? Are we better educated? Or is everyone looking for a new bandwagon to jump on?

Update:

So sorry, I really thought I put this in the Environmental section. Don't know how I ended up here, but a lot of you have probably asked yourselves the same question.

Anyway, if you touchy LGBT folks will humor me for just ONE question, I'll get out of your hair and you can go back to doing whatever it is you do in here.

Update 2:

Oh, and Fox News? I'd as soon get my news straight from Al Gore.

Well, I have indeed pondered the fact that we seem to be hearing a little less on global warming, and climate change.

And this is honestly why I think you are hearing less about it. With the economy and fuel prices so high I think people are more open to drilling for oil right here in the U.S. and it seems as though people are unable to imagine that conservation and exploration could peacefully coexist.

first, I find it interesting seeing your question in this section. Second, you don't seem to be paying very close attention. Other than on Fox news you will find report after report pointing out the fact that more and more people are indeed acknowledging the very real problem of an environment in peril. And yes, the reason for this may well be better education on the subject.

What's that all about. I must be spelling LGBT wrong.
