Who thinks Michael Bloomberg will run for the 2016 Democratic nomination?
If he's president there won't be a 20oz soft drink in the whole country.
10 AnswersElections8 years agoCan a white, hetero, American get a break?
I'm tired of being treated like every bad thing that happened through history is my fault.
3 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender8 years agoWhich came first, the priest or the pedophile?
Is there a proclivity for pedophiles to become priests or is it the other way around? Or neither?
1 AnswerOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoWould it be wrong to refer to First Lady Michelle Obama as "First *****"?
2 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoJust who's getting stimulated by Obama's plan?
Does anyone REALLY believe that $200 million a piece for NASA and NOAA to study global warming is going to stimulate the economy? And how about that $650 million for digital TV coupons and $6.2 billion for a weatherization assistance program? I feel better about the future already.
20 AnswersElections1 decade agoDoes religion bashing and gay bashing go hand in hand?
Or is bigotry more selective than that?
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhere have all the illegal alien questions gone?
Are we that driven by the news median that we only question the things that are hot news topics?

It was -14F when I left for work this morning. I think it's only slightly warmer in my office.
4 AnswersWeather1 decade agoWhat makes 10 points so important?
"Best answer - 10 points", "First to answer - 10 points", Correct answer gets 10 points". So what? Shouldn't the percentage of best answers be more important?
4 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoShouldn't there be some personal limitations on what questions we ask?
Doesn't it see reasonable that if you have a problem with your vagina or your penis that you would seek advice from a qualified practitioner instead of the Y!A community? I know were mostly anonymous on here but geez people, shouldn't we keep our genitalia out of it?
2 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoDon't you find it interesting...?
....how much the questions have changed in the Environmental section of Y!A? During the whole Inconvenient Truth craze the questions (and most answers) were of the "sky is falling" tenor. Now, there seems to be more skeptics and fewer fanatics. What changed? Are we better educated? Or is everyone looking for a new bandwagon to jump on?

3 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoPlanting a tree is supposed to help save the planet, right?
I'm wondering how celebrities planting trees in pots along city streets, or anyone else for that matter who plant trees for the environment, are going to help anything. Weren't the trees already growing? Aren't they just transplanting trees? I don't see anyone putting tree seeds in the ground. The mere act of planting a tree is just that...an act.
7 AnswersGlobal Warming1 decade agoIs Global Warming the latest form of terrorism?
Look at the panic so many people are in over global warming. 9/11 didn't cause this much long-term, wide spread panic. It has all the markings of terrorism to me.
14 AnswersGlobal Warming1 decade agoHow many "How can we stop Global Warming" questions do we need?
It would be interesting to see how many times this question has been asked. Do people think the answer is changing or do they really not read the any of the other questions?
8 AnswersGlobal Warming1 decade agoFollow up to prev question. Okay, so if cow farts/belches are so damaging to the environment...?
....shouldn't we add the affect of all the other similar animals in the world - elk, deer, buffalo, elephants, rhinos, hippos, muskox, water buffalo, wildebeast, etc.? Added together there are a lot more of them than domestic bovines. Why aren't we down on elephant belching and farting?
11 AnswersGlobal Warming1 decade agoWho determined that farting cows contribute to global warming?
Do cows have some special kinds of farts that the other mammals in the word don't?
12 AnswersGlobal Warming1 decade agoCan someone give me sound advice regarding canning a particular recipe please?
There is a Green Chili sauce with pork that we make and love to eat on almost anything. I'd like to can several quarts of it but I'm not sure of processing times, etc.
We can other things and use the Ball Blue Book but there's nothing in there that gives me a warm fuzzy about canning this sauce. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing or have any other resources? I've searched online but have come up empty-handed. The link to the recipe is below - give it a try!! I don't use as much curry as they say in the recipe - maybe half or even less.
2 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoCCan we all pretend for a moment that the Mormon church really was founded on a hoax?
Here's what has come of Joseph Smith's hoax:
- With the exception of some of the Native American tribes, the Mormons were the only group in the history of the U.S. to have a government sanctioned extermination order against them.
- Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum were murdered without ever denouncing the truthfulness of Joseph's claims to have spoken to God and Jesus Christ and of the translation of the plates which became the Book of Mormon.
- Oliver Cowdrey, helped Joseph Smith translate the plates was excommunicated but never denied having seen and held the plates. Ten years after his excommunication he requested re-admittance to the Church and was re-baptized.
- 177 years after it's restoration and 153 years after the murder of Joseph and Hyrum Smith, the Mormon church is one of the fastest growing religions in the world today and 4th largest in the United States.
