Thanks For The Support!!!! (dog that killed other dog)?

Thanks for the support from all my contacts and others. Lily was euthanized this afternoon and it was easy and as good as could be for her. I feel very good about the decision. It was a sad event and I wish I could change it for both dogs, but that cannot happen.

Thanks Again!!!!

Legit:

Are you serving your dogs the giblet package for Thanksgiving??? Are you cooking it or feeding it raw????

Update:

Did the dog get on the stove by itself??? LOL!!!!! We only have to worry about the cats!!!!!!!!!! That picture made my day!!!!!

I try to give them each a bit - raw.

    EDIT: Yes, she did.

    And she had company

Bassets are more agile than they look.

EDIT: And of course, instead of shooing them off I run and get the camera. You know you've gone to the dogs when.....

EDIT: I'd give them their Tofurkey, and make a REAL turkey for the rest of us.

    Tofurkey, BLEAGH!

I'm so very sorry for your losses.

Over the past week, my dogs have consumed most of 2 20 lb turkeys... all parted out and raw. The giblets go to whoever grabs them as I fling them out the back door. The neck is a "part" of one of the dog's meals.

One of my girls goes on a hunger strike when turkey is served! The others I can get to eat a couple of meals of it *IF* I space it out over a few days.

None of them are fond of turkey breast.. so the second one will be cooked and made into bait.

    ********************

Love the Bassets on the stove - who said Bassets are sedentary! (man, I never understood that one... how the heck does anyone think a dog is supposed to catch a rabbit if its sedentary and not an agile problem solver?)

My thoughts were definitely with you this morning. I appreciate you posting to let us know what happened. I'm sorry to hear it, but I think you made the right decision. What a terrible weekend...

I'm spending Thanksgiving driving to Arizona for a set of shows -- so my dogs and I will likely be sharing whatever I can find at a truck stop!

In the past, the dogs have gotten the giblets, quite raw.

Oh Newf! I'm so sorry! When I saw this, I knew I must have missed something so checked out your previous question...

You know in your heart that you made the right decision, as hard as it may have been. I'm glad that it was peaceful and easy for her...

We're having Lasagna for Thanksgiving, so the boys won't be having any giblets...

Edit - Ewwww! To-Turkey?! Did you ever see the "Everybody Loves Raymond" episode where they did one of those? Looked like a giant Turkey made of Jell-o!

Source(s): Basset - That is the most hilarious thing I've ever seen!

Very sorry for the hard decision you had to make. But you did the right thing.

And you bet my dogs get the neck, giblets, etc. Raw, of course. I cut the neck in half and divide up the rest of the organs between them. For some reason my male doesn't like the liver. But that suits my female just fine. :)

No turkey or giblets for my dogs. I may make some bait with it though and freeze it until I need it for the shows.

Basset on the stove, now that is hilarious. My dogs have got on chairs and then jumped on the kitchen table. Not what you expect from my dogs but, they are pretty smart with their tiny little brains.

So sorry you had to make such a tough decision! :(

It was in the best interest of your other dogs.

They might get the neck...But I need the rest :)

A pit bull is in elementary terms a canines like the different... it incredibly is a breed, like the different.... ALL canines can chew. ALL canines can kill. A pomeranian killed and toddler. in basic terms b/c a go with few have been raised and spoke of the incorrect way, does no longer mean you may desire to blame the full breed. A pitbull could be in basic terms as loving and unswerving to somebody as the different breed could be. it is like blaming an entire race of persons in basic terms b/c of the undesirable issues that a number of them decide directly to do. it incredibly is often b/c they weren't spoke of the perfect way.... i'm no longer gonna say I hate all black people in basic terms b/c certainly one of them keeps attempting to start mess with us around right here. in basic terms as i'm no longer gonna blame an entire breed of canines in basic terms b/c some have been spoke of the incorrect way.... I mean, incredibly, get a grip! could you be prejudice against all boys if a boy beat you up? could you be prejudice against all ladies if a woman beat you up? i would not think of so. So, why hate all pitbulls in basic terms b/c ONE or 2 of them attacked you (or your spouse, for that reason)? sure, they could have been bred for struggling with or whatnot, yet that still would not make all of them undesirable. multiple German Shepherds are bred for police paintings. Are you prejudice against them too? Do you notice ALL German Shepherds attacking people? NO.... it is the way they're RAISED and TAUGHT.... incredibly, do somewhat analysis, for God's sake.... in basic terms b/c your spouse had a bad come across with a pair pits, does no longer mean they're all undesirable... what number pits have you ever seen, besides? I surprisingly doubt very many, if no longer in elementary terms those 2.... be taught to no longer be so stereotypical approximately each thing once you do no longer even understand the full tale..... -_- I had a pit/chow blend who /killed/ my cat. i did no longer kill my canines over it, nevertheless. And it wasn't b/c he replaced into area pit. It replaced into nutrition aggression and that i understood that. Any canines could be nutrition agressive in the direction of different animals, and maximum are.... God forbid you ever get a canines, in case you haven't any longer have been given one already.... -__-
