Red Road in Wisconsin (near MN border)?
I remember driving out to Minnesota and there is a stretch of highway in Wisconsin that the pavement is a red tone. It was always a sign that we were almost there. Does anyone know what highway this is? why it's red?

I live in Western Wisconsin. I'm not sure exactly which road you mean. There are lots of them. There is not special reason they are red. They just used local materials to build the road and they happen to be red.
