Do you ever have a 'brain fart'?

Plentiful cuz I am the easily distracted type ...

There was once I was hunting for the pen on my desk ... I swore it should be on my desk cuz it was like a minute ago I was still using it ... as I was searching for it underneath the piles of files on my table, my colleague who was passing by remarked that somebody is trying to be funny by putting a pen in the company refrifgerator ice making cube compartment .... and I was the culprit .... lol .... I don't even remember doing so ...

Tom Eichele, a neuroscientist at the University of Bergen in Norway, was part of an international team of researchers who identified evidence that the brain fart is detectable in brain scans up to 30 seconds before the mistake is actually made... The scientific term they gave the phenomenon is "maladaptive brain activity change."

After chemo, it become almost frequent.

Maybe because of the drug.

But I don't think is brain fart. Maybe it's short term memory lost.

Yes. Every 27th of the month. That's when I have to pay my staff their salary. That's when the fart kicks in. I call it mental block but its more like mental illness for me.

Yup. A lot of times. Especially if its the due date of my unpaid bills. =D

many times. and i sure wish it would happen for a particular incident i want to forget. ;(
