How early do people line up for Ikea black friday sales? ?

Most of the stores open well before 9:00 am. I heard Target was opening at 4am and I think that Kohls is opening at 3am. I heard one store was opening at midnight but I forget which one.

I would probably just get wherever you plan on going an hour before they open.

I have never went out that early for shopping and I don't think I ever will! lol

Black Friday day sales get crazy and i used to be one of those people waiting in line 3 hours ahead of time but Ikea only has a couple things on sale this year and it's new in my area so i was wondering how hard it was and how early people arrive if they open at 9am....? Thanks!

I am not sure about Ikea but at 11:00 last year there was a line that was about 100 peolpe long!! they all put up tents so ythey could go out and get doorbuster sales!! so if Ikea is openeing at nine then i would get there at 3:00 am!!!

Most stores open way before 9. Here in Birmingham Alabama, the stores are opening between 3:30 - 5:00. We are always there about 2 1/2 hours early! It isnt hard at at all! We usually take a nap around 8 and get up around 12ish 1ish. And if it opens at 9am, what the heck, be there at 4. Takes a huge sacrifice!

I remember waiting for a store to open on Black Friday ONCE in my 55 years. I would never do it again because it's just not worth it. For one thing, I hate shopping. Yes, I really do. I don't like crowds and pushing and shoving. I find no joy in that. Personally, I'd rather shop in a catalog. Since I have so few family, I don't have many gifts to buy and the few I have, we have made a pack that we buy gifts in the name of others who really need things. We are blessed and highly favored and every need is met - we don't need anything else.

I usually don't even step outside my door.

yeah for like really good deals that they have at like 4 or 5 in the morning. its going to be even worst because ikea is huge so if i was you i would get their early

WalMart has said they will prosecute anyone who leaks their Black Friday prices before they release them on November 19th, so any sites that have them already are probably fake.

It you want to get the best prices I usually go around 3am. If you go at 9am prices are still cheap, but they are not low as the 5am crowd goes into the store. Have a good one.
