The lighting is what make the ears look so bad. The only real flaw in the ear is one is about 1/8 in shorter, otherwise they are simetrical

Man, the crop job on that dog is AWFUL!
And my guess would be Dane/Boxer mix... or really badly bred Dane.
Edit: I am NOT in any way anti-cropping (thanks for the emails, guys). My commentary regarding that crop job is due to the fact the ears are NOT EVEN! (or at least don't appear to be even in the photo) 1 ear is slightly longer and the other ear appears to be more rounded/have more "bell" at the base.

I'd say a very large boxer, but lookin' at the body, I'd say Boxer/ Great Dane mix.
