Computer Video games--War type- New ?
My husband loves war-type computer video games. He is not a gamer--not with ps2 or Wi-----just likes games for his laptop and desk computer. I am Christmas shopping on his behalf. What is out there now----current------good action packed war-type game???
I am green-help on this matter ---so, any help would really be appreciated. This will be a stocking gift---and I don't want to buy him some thing lame.,

Gears of war 2; lots of blood and gore in a first person shooter
Left for Dead; zombie game thats intense w/ all the mauling youll ever need!
Crysis 2; amazing game! action packed and great graphics!
Unreal Tournament 2; well developed game
Fallout 3; great game with a good plot. shooter intensive
Call of Duty 4 (NOT 5!)- its just that good
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway
My personal choice would be Gears of War 2. second would be Call of duty 4
P.S. the first guy is right. all these games are shooting games. does he like commanding a bunch of units at a time or just a shooter? like halo or like Starcraft?

well "war-type" isn't exactly a genre...
is he into RTS', FPS', etc.
