Favorite Brand Of Collar??
Well, here I sit waiting for the vegetarian guests and the "Celebration Loaf" to arrive and I am BORED.
So, what is your favorite brand of collar/leash, and how many of each do you think you own??????
I like the leather decorated ones, but on my dogs you can't see the collar anyway. I usually buy Lupine, since I tend to leave them lying around and they get chewed and I like the ease of getting a no hassle replacement.
Resco also for show.
LOVE my 10 year old Herm Sprenger prongs!!!!! They should last a lifetime!!!

Well, I only have one dog, but she is spoiled and has lots of extra collars that she doesn't wear. Most of them seem to be TUFF collar brand, but I don't really know which brand is best, I normally just find a nice strong collar in her size and buy it, I didn't really think about brand.

Bamboo brand is a good one! I love the leashes you can buckle up in the car so the dog can't roam in the car. i have 2 of those one pink and one blue for my dogs Dakota(pink) and Duke(blue).
Collars I like I adjustable ones that buckle together.I get them at Walmart or the grocery store.
choke collars are good too but I only use them when walking to give correction and then after walks I take them off.
Duke also likes to chew on the leashes. He will grab it if he thinks he is going somewhere when I am about to leave somewhere.(silly boy).
I have 5 leashes. 2 I got from Dr. Foster and smith magazine. a blue one I got at Walmart and 2 Bamboo brand leashes(the ones you can buckle in the car).
Just 2 collars and they wear them all the time.

I use a leather collar - I have no idea the maker. For the prong, I prefer Herm Sprenger. I have a hand-made leather leash that I use for most outside work.

Everyday use: White Pine- soft slip collar. http://www.whitepineoutfitters.com/catalog_categor...
They also have the super soft leather show leads I like. http://www.whitepineoutfitters.com/catalog_categor... Since I'm SLOW I use a 6 foot lead to move my dogs.. it allows them to go out in front of my slowwwww butt. I own a custom-made 8 ft one, but at this time, none of my dogs are well-trained enough to use it.
I like a standard "jeweled" collar to show in, the thinnest I can find and the tightest I can get over the dog's head. I probably own more than 20 of the danged things!

Yeah, you must be really bored. Come to think of it, I must be too! I don't have a favourite brand of collar, but I love nylon, buckle ones. I have two dogs who each have an intact collar each, and two or three broken one each! I also keep their puppy collars (Aww, was her neck really that small?!) They have a lead each (both nylon) a broken lead each, and my younger dog has a choke-chain. Oh, he had a halti once as well, they are really good but he chewed it up and I haven't got another one yet as he is practically lead trained by now. Hmm, I could write an entire book on my dogs collars at this rate of going!!

I don't really have a preference for brand, but I do like snake-link collars with a "loop" lead or a torpedo-type lead for showing. For walking I like a snap collar and a flexi-lead. For serious training I like a chain or snake collar, or a snap collar, with a 6 foot THIN leather or nylon lead.
I like to use as fine and lightweight equipment as possible.

I use Hamilton Leashes and Collars. I find them at a ranch/feed store. They are nice, heavy duty nylon...I have 6 of each since I have 6 dogs :)

I own around 10 collars and leashes, but for four dogs, thats not that many!! I love collars though and am always tempeted to buy more!! I've recently discovered Mcgrath collars and love their designs! I prefer leather though. But my favourites are Wainwrights leather collars.
