Popular/Mainstream/Pop-Culture Young Authors?
It is my dream to become a great author, I have plenty writing experience and have even been published(for pay). But was wondering if it was possible for a young author to achieve mainstream popularity like say actors or musicians?
I understand that I am not the most talented in the world, I am not that full of myself, but I dont think other authors have tried to really break into the mainstream they are content to sit in their literary clubs and libararies.

I'm sure it can be done, but it would be very difficult. There's thousands of writers out there who are just as talented if not more talented than you.
