  • Problem with connecting PS3 to internet?

So I just bought a new PS3 160gb and I'm trying to set up the wireless internet. I know how to do most of it, but after I select my WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK setting it asks me for the WPA key. I'm assuming that's the security password.

But when I enter the code and press over for a while it says "Checking network configuration... Please wait." and then after about a minute and a half it says "The key information exchange timed out. The WPA key you entered may not be correct."

I don't know what this means. The key I'm using is the same key I used to wirelessly connect all of the laptops to the network and it worked fine with them. Does that mean I need some other code besides that one? We have three PS3s in the house and neither my brother or my step-dad can figure out how to wirelessly connect theirs either.

    Thanks.

  • Looking for a thriller movie about consumerism?

So I watched this movie a year or so ago and I really want to watch it again but I have no idea what's it's called. It's a dark sort of indie film about a guy who lives alone in an apartment complex. I can't remember the whole plot but I know that he starts to uncontrollably drink milk, and has a friend who rides a motorcycle that informs him that it's some sort of bacteria or something like that. And there's a guy in one of the apartments near him that has this mannequin head thing that talks and movies.

I'm sorry if that isn't enough info. I tried googling everything possible but I haven't come up with anything. So if you could let me know that name of the movie I would be grateful!

  • Windows Vista is not genuine?

I have a HP TouchSmart tx2. A couple months ago I sent it back to the manufacturer to get the touchscreen repaired. I got it back and everything seemed okay, but I realized that in the bottom corner of my desktop screen it says:

    Windows Vista (TM)

    Build 6002

This copy of Windows is not genuine

I'm guessing they uninstalled Windows and then reinstalled it, but didn't register it or something?

Is there any way to fix this? My warranty ran out about a week after I got it back, so I can't really send it back. So can I do something about it or do I just have to live with it?

  • How to deal with combination, flaky skin and large pores?

I have combination skin that is oily around my nose and my chin, and normal on my cheeks and jawline, but dry and flaky on my forehead, chin and nose (especially around the creases on the sides of it). And I also have an issue with large pores around my chin, nose, cheekbones and forehead.

Right now I'm using St. Ives Apricot Scrub every other day (because my skin is sensitive and gets very irritated if I exfoliate too much), I wash my face twice a day with Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, and moisturize every day with Eucerin Everyday Protection face lotion.

My current routine is doing alright for my skin, it's not as flaky and oily as it once was, but it's not where I want it yet. I try to use liquid foundation but because of the flakes I end up re-moisturizing after I apply it which cakes the makeup onto my face and makes me break out like there's no tomorrow. What products do you think would help, and should I try using a different kind of foundation, such as powder or minerals?

And for my pore problem I've tried using Biore Pore Minimizing face wash to no avail. I haven't really tried anything else for that problem, I've just kind of dealt with it.

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks for your help.

  • Paintings or images with the same style and color scheme?

Hi. I'm looking for artwork that has a specific blue/beige color scheme. What I want are things that would go good on the wall with works like:

    Alphonse Mucha's "The Moon"

    http://www.allposters.com/-sp/The-Moon-Posters_i26...

    or Van Gogh's "Starry Night"

    http://www.allposters.com/-sp/Starry-Night-c-1889-...

Something along those ideas. I would like lots and lots of suggestions on pieces of art that would look good next to those pieces, that have similar color schemes. Any help will be much appreciated :)

  • Help deciding where to get a student loan?

I'm a sophomore in community college, and I'm looking to take out a loan for about $2,000 so that I can buy myself a car.

Where are the best places to get a loan, where their interest rates aren't through the roof and they don't make you pay until after you graduate?

The only people I've heard of are Sallie Mae. A list of credible companies would be awesome. But any help is very much appreciated!

  • A good graphics computer for cheap?

So right now I have an HP TouchSmart tx2 and it is a big piece of crap. Ever since I got it the touchscreen has been spotty, working when it wants to. It makes weird noises that are loud and repetitive and annoying. The speakers go in and out whenever they please. Notifications pop out of nowhere and WILL NOT go away until you click on them, and then you have to keep certain windows open or else they will show up again. The port for the charger is loose, so you have to screw around with the damned thing to get it to charge. It gets WAY TOO HOT! I've given myself burns from the air coming out of the vent. It's burned my kitchen table from the bottom getting so hot. It burned one of those ventilation things that you put under your laptop to keep it cool, the plastic ones. Sometimes I even burn myself on the keys. I believe that the fact that it gets so hot, is what is causing all of the problems. I think it's melting itself from the inside out. So... I'm going to sell the piece of crap and buy a new laptop. But I'm on a budget.

So my question is, what is a good laptop for graphics, where I can run Photoshop and Illustrator, while keeping lots of files, pictures and music, but isn't too expensive. I'm hoping for less than $500. I DO NOT want a tablet PC, just a regular laptop/notebook. Anyone have any suggestions. Any brand suggestions? Toshiba or Dell? Are Acer and Asus any good?

  • Can you make pie with raspberry preserves?

I'm making my boyfriend a pie for his birthday, and he asked if I could make one with raspberry preserves instead of raspberry pie filling. I've never used preserves in baking pies before, so I don't know if it's possible. Does anyone have a recipe or instruction on how to use preserves instead of filling for a pie?

  • Video format converting programs that are free?

I need to convert a video from FLV to WMV. I've already tried AVS and Xilisoft but AVS adds a watermark if you don't buy it, and Xilisoft only converts the first three minutes. It's just a single video I want to convert, so I really don't feel like paying $30 for something I'm only ever going to use once. So are there any format converting programs that are totally free and wont give me a time limit or a watermark?

  • Is this outfit appropriate for a wedding?

My cousin is getting married in June and I was wondering if this outfit is appropriate for a wedding...

    http://i56.tinypic.com/2ewzigg.jpg

I'm not sure if wearing a black and white dress would be appropriate or not. The wedding colors are brown and lavender (if that matters?). And any suggestions on what sort of jewelry to wear?

  • Help with my cat using the litter box?

So my cat won't use the letterbox. She's about 2.5 years. She recently went blind somehow, we're not sure but it happened after she had kittens in November. There are also two other cats in the house, both male. The litterbox and litter were recently changed. After all of that she will not use it. So I'm buying the old litter and a box like the old one. But is there anyway to keep the other two cats from using it? She's an indoor cat so there is not lettin her outside to use the bathroom. Any advice?

  • It's warm out but I can see my breath?

So I went outside this morning because the weather is finally starting to warm up and I thought it would nice to get some fresh air. It's 58F and mostly sunny out with a slight breeze. It's the perfect morning, but for some reason I could still see my breath. Any ideas why that is?

  • Switching sim cards in an AT&T phone?

So I have a prepaid plan with AT&T on a Samsung SGH. It's the $2 a day for unlimited everything. Okay, so I want to get a better phone, and I was thinking of buying one off amazon or ebay (probably the LG neon or Pantech Link), so I can get it cheaper than what AT&T is selling their phones for. So if I do buy a cell phone, can I just switch the sim cards and my number and service will be switched over to the new phone? Or are some phones not compatible with some sim cards? Any advice would be great :)

  • First time driving on the interstate?

So, my sister and I are going to be traveling from Syracuse, NY to East Rutherford, NY for a concert. That's about 6 hours of driving. So we're going to be taking turns driving ever hour or so. My sister has had her license for a few years, but I just got mine a few weeks ago. So I've never driven on the interstate... and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice for me. Anything will be super helpful. I'm just kind of nervous.

  • Preparing to own a German Shepherd puppy?

So my boyfriend and I are hoping to get a German Shepherd puppy towards the end of the year, which we hope will give us enough time to prepare to train and take care of him. We live out in the country and have a huge yard and a big house, so we definitely can accommodate him since shepherds are generally very active. But we know that they're intelligent and tend to set themselves as the alpha if not trained right, so we want to know how to approach him as a puppy and get him started on the right path. We already have a shepherd/husky mix, who is old and we trained him very well. So I was wondering if anyone out there who has owned or currently owns a shepherd could suggest any books, articles or anything else for us to read or watch. And would you suggest working with a professional trainer or is it possible to train the puppy by ourselves? Any help/tips would be very much appreciated :)
