Can an employer force an employee to "rat out" a fellow employee (legally)?
This is for a class project in Human Relations. The question is (basically) can a manager force an employee to testify to problems (not personal problems, work related) with other workers (poor performance, not adhering to rules, etc..)? Is there a legal reason why this should not be allowed?

An employer can't force an employee to do anything since we aren't assigned our jobs by government yet. Likewise, and for the same reason, an employee can't force an employer to keep employing him.
You meet each others expectations or the employer/employee relationship is over.
